Raj Travels

We have been set up on the ground floor of the Amulya Kiron building for quite a while now. If you have ever been down R.G. Baruah Road near the Zoo Road Tiniali area, you probably know how busy it gets with all the cars and people moving around. Our space is not anything fancy, just a regular office where we handle travel bookings and help people figure out their trips. Most of the day is spent on the phone or checking computer screens to see what is available. It gets a bit noisy because we are so close to the main road, but you get used to the sound of traffic after a few weeks. We usually have people dropping in from the neighborhood asking about bus timings or train tickets. The desks are always covered in scraps of paper and notes because things move fast around here. It is just a small team of us working through the daily tasks. We try to keep the place tidy, though the dust from the road makes that a constant job. There is always a pot of tea going somewhere in the back. It is a practical kind of place where we just focus on getting the work done so people can get to where they are going. We have seen a lot of changes on this street over the years, but we are still here in the same corner.
