Guwahati Travel Guide

We are located over by the I I T area in Guwahati. It is a bit of a trek for some people to get here, but it is where we decided to set up. Most of what we do at Guwahati Travel Guide involves helping folks figure out where they are going and how to get there. The office itself isn't much to speak of, just a single room with some sturdy desks and a few older computers. We spend a lot of time on the phone or answering messages from people who are confused about their routes. The campus nearby makes it a lively place to be, and there are always students or staff walking around. We keep a lot of local maps and handwritten notes about the roads around here because things change after the heavy rains. Sometimes we just sit and talk to the drivers who stop by for a chat. It is not some high-end agency with glass walls or fancy rugs. It is just us in a regular building with a fan that clicks. We have some old wooden chairs that creak every time you sit down. Usually, there is a stack of brochures on the corner table that nobody really looks at anymore. We know the routes and the schedules pretty well after all these years. It gets very hot in the afternoons, so the fan is always on high. We aren't big on fancy marketing. We just tell people what we know about the area and the roads.
