Milk Parlour

We are located in Ganesh Market at Silpukhuri in Guwahati. Being on G N B Road means there is always noise and movement outside. This milk parlour has been a steady spot for the people living nearby for quite some time now. We deal with fresh dairy items and it keeps us moving. Mornings are the most hectic time here. Everyone wants their milk early before they go to the office or send kids to school. We see the same faces every single day. Guwahati can get quite humid, so keeping everything cold and fresh is our main task. The shop isn't very big, but it serves its purpose. We don't have a lot of furniture, just the counters and the cooling units. Silpukhuri is a lively area and being right in the market helps us stay connected to what is happening. We don't spend money on big signs or anything like that. People know where we are. Sometimes we run out of curd or paneer early if it’s a festival day. It happens. We just try to get enough stock for the next morning. It’s a very practical kind of work. No sitting around much. You can hear the buses and rickshaws going by on G N B Road all day long. It's just a regular part of the market life here in Guwahati. We are just here doing our daily work, making sure things are available for the locals who rely on us for their breakfast needs.
