Lakhpat Singh Memorial Public School

We are located right on Mazhar Road in the Bhangagarh area. If you know the Ub Photos spot, you know exactly where we are. It’s a busy part of Guwahati, but inside the gates, things settle down a bit. This school has been around for a while now, and we just go about our business every day. The classrooms are simple with wooden desks and big windows that let in the afternoon light. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud, but the kids are used to it by now. We have a small space for the morning assembly where everyone stands in rows. It’s not a fancy place with marble floors or anything like that. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint next summer, but they hold up fine for now. Teachers here show up early, usually carrying a bag full of notebooks to grade. We spend a lot of time just making sure the fans are working when it gets humid. During the breaks, you can hear the chatter all the way down the street. It’s a local place for local families. We don’t have a big fancy office, just a desk and some chairs where parents come to talk about their kids. We keep things pretty straightforward here. No big bells or whistles, just a regular school day starting at eight and ending when the sun is high. It’s just how we do things here in Bhangagarh.
