Kuturia Junior High Uprimary School

Kuturia Junior High Uprimary School is located at Hose No 1 on Zoo Road. We are right in the Zoo Tiniali area of Guwahati, with the pin code 781003. This is a very active part of the city, and being at Hose Number 1 makes us fairly easy to spot if you are looking for us. We have both junior high and primary sections here, so we have kids of various ages coming through our doors every morning. The building is an old one, but it serves us well for our daily classes. We have been part of the Zoo Road community for quite some time now. It is a local school where we don't have many frills. We have our classrooms, a small office for the headmaster, and a bit of space for the students to play. The staff is mostly local people from Guwahati who know the neighborhood and the families well. We spend our time teaching and making sure the school stays in order. Sometimes the noise from the main Zoo Road can be a bit much during the day, but we have gotten used to it over the years. We don't really do anything for promotion or publicity. We just keep the school open and do our best with the resources we have. Most people just walk in if they need to ask something or enroll their children. It is a simple, honest school for the local kids in this part of town, and we’ve been here for years.
