L. H. Industries

L. H. Industries is situated on K.R.B Road in the Kamrup district. We are right near Railway Gate No8, so we hear the trains passing by all the time. It’s a sound you get used to after a week or two. Our facility is a practical one, built for work rather than looking good. We have been in this spot for several years now. Being near the railway gate makes it easy to give directions, though the traffic can stop when the gate is down. We do a lot of industrial work here. The floors are concrete and there are tools everywhere. It’s a bit dusty because of the road and the work we do, but we clean up as best as we can. There’s a small tea stall just outside where we usually go for breaks. We know most of the people who live and work around Gate No8. It’s a tight community in this part of Kamrup. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our jobs and go home to our families. Some of the machinery is old, but it works perfectly fine because we take care of it. We don't use fancy software for everything; a lot of our notes are still written in notebooks. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it works for us. We’re just local people running a local business and we hope to stay here.
