Our office for Upheave Systems Pvt. Ltd. is in the lower ground floor of P-8/5 in DLF Phase 2. Being in a basement-level space means it stays a bit cooler when the sun is beating down on Gurgaon. We don't get a lot of natural light, so we have to rely on the overhead fluorescent tubes. It’s not a big deal once you get used to it. We handle systems work here. There’s a bunch of servers in the back that hum all day long. The sound becomes like white noise after a while. The office is mostly just open space with a few partitions we put up ourselves. We’ve got some old whiteboards covered in scribbles and notes that nobody has erased in months. The floor is tiled and easy to clean, which is good because we tend to track in a bit of dust from the street. There’s a small area where we keep a microwave and a kettle. DLF Phase 2 is a nice enough area, but we’re mostly just tucked away in our little corner. Parking can be a real pain if you arrive late, so most of us try to get in early. It’s an honest place to work. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the furniture. We just want the systems to run like they should. It’s quiet, it’s functional, and it’s where we spend most of our time from Monday to Friday. We've been here for a bit now.
