Working out of TOWER-D on the 16th floor of Global Busniess Park can be a bit of a trip every morning. The elevators at Mehrauli - Gurgaon Road take forever sometimes, but the view from up here isn't bad once you get to the office. Ugs India Pvt. Ltd. is just a group of us trying to keep things moving. We spend a lot of time on our computers, dealing with whatever comes across the desk. It’s a lot of emails and phone calls, mostly. The office layout is open, which means you hear everything, but you get used to the noise after a week or two. We have a small kitchen area where the coffee is usually burnt, but people drink it anyway. It’s just the way it is. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, just trying to do our jobs right so we can go home on time. Some days are longer than others when a project gets stuck, but we usually find a way through it. The commute is probably the hardest part for most of the staff. Gurgaon traffic is famous for being a mess, especially when it rains. But we're here from Monday to Friday, doing what needs to be done. It’s a decent place to work, and the people are alright. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily routine.
