Tresmode

Tresmode has a spot here at 76-G/28 New Jyoti Park in Gurgaon. This part of Haryana is always moving fast and we try to keep up with it. Our daily work is mostly about shoes and making sure the right styles get to where they need to go. The office is usually filled with samples and shoe boxes piled up against the walls. It can get a bit messy during the peak season when new designs arrive, but we manage to find what we need eventually. New Jyoti Park is a mix of houses and small businesses, so it feels a bit more like a neighborhood than a cold office park. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and checking the quality of the leather and stitching. Gurgaon can be incredibly hot in the summer, which makes working in a warehouse-style space a bit of a challenge. We just keep the water bottles full and the fans on high. It is not a glamorous job even if the shoes look nice on a shelf. There is a lot of heavy lifting and counting involved in the background. We don't have a big corporate team here, just a few of us who know the business and want to make sure the customers get something they actually like wearing. Most days involve a lot of checking lists and making sure the deliveries are on time despite the Gurgaon traffic which is always a bit of a nightmare for us.
