Bata India Limited has an office at I 24 on the ground floor in South City 2, along Sohna Road in Gurgaon. While everyone knows Bata as a huge brand, this particular office is more of a local administrative branch where we handle the day-to-day operations for this area. It’s a ground-floor unit, which makes it very accessible for when we have staff coming in or when we need to deal with local deliveries. The office isn't a showroom filled with shoes; instead, it’s full of desks, computers, and filing cabinets. We spend our time managing inventory lists, coordinating with store managers, and making sure the logistics for our retail outlets are running properly. It’s a busy place and there’s always something that needs to be filed or a problem that needs solving. Being on Sohna Road is great for accessibility, though the noise from the traffic is a constant background sound for us. We don't have a fancy lobby or a lot of corporate perks here. It’s a very functional workspace where the team focuses on getting their tasks done. We have a small corner for making tea, and that’s where most of our breaks happen. It’s a very down-to-earth environment. We just show up and do the work that keeps the local side of the business healthy. It’s not glamorous, but it’s how we keep everything on track for the stores in this region. We just keep our heads down and get the work finished.
