The Omex

The Omex is located on the ground floor of building number 2715 in Sector-16. We are right near Father Cinema, so it's a pretty easy landmark for anyone trying to find the office. It is a small space but it fits what we need to do. Most days involve a lot of phone calls and paperwork. Sector-16 is a decent neighborhood. Being on the ground floor helps because people can just walk in without dealing with stairs. We’ve been at this for some time now. The noise from the cinema crowd is something you get used to after a week or two. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure everything runs okay. It’s mostly regular office work. We keep things simple. No fancy decorations on the walls, just a calendar and some files. The lighting in here isn't the best, but we manage just fine. We usually open up early and stay until the work is finished for the day. It gets a bit quiet in the afternoons before the evening movie shows start. If you’re around the sector, you’ve probably walked past us a dozen times without thinking much about it. That is fine with us. We just like to stay busy and keep things moving along. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks down, which is a bit of a disaster for us. We just go to the little stall down the street instead. It is a plain life here at The Omex. We don't have any big goals of changing the world. We just want to do our jobs well and go home to our families.
