We’re over at Plot 562 on the Gurgaon Palampur Road, in the Uydog Vihar area. That’s where Sms Is Softwere Services India Pvt Ltd operates from every day. The building is fairly big and has plenty of room for all the different projects we have going on. You’ll mostly hear the steady hum of the air conditioning and the sound of people typing away at their desks. We don't really go for a fancy office setup. It’s a practical space with lots of monitors and the usual mess of power cords under the tables. Most of our time is spent on software tasks, which involves a lot of sitting and problem-solving. It isn't always exciting, but we like the challenge of fixing things that aren't working right. The breakroom is where we all end up around midday, usually complaining about the traffic on Palampur Road or talking about what’s for lunch. It’s a very normal, down-to-earth environment. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and we know the area well, including which tea stalls are the best. We aren't trying to act like a big corporation with a lot of polished speeches. We’re just a group of people who are good at the technical side of things and want to get the work done properly. It’s honest work and it keeps the lights on, which is enough for us.
