Working at Siemens Plm Softweare India Pvt. Ltd. means heading over to the Global Business Park on M G Road every day. We are way up on the 16th floor of Tower D. The view from up there is something else, especially when the weather is clear. You can see quite far across the city. The office itself is full of rows of desks and people working on PLM software. It’s a big company, but our little corner feels a bit more grounded. We have our routines, like the morning coffee run or the meetings that seem to go on a bit longer than they should. The Global Business Park is a busy place with lots of different businesses, so the lobby is always full of people in a hurry. Up on the 16th floor, it feels a bit more removed from all that noise. We deal with a lot of data and technical stuff, so there is always something to figure out. It’s not all exciting, of course. There’s plenty of mundane stuff to do, like filling out timesheets and answering emails. We try to keep things simple and just get through the task list. M G Road is always a mess with traffic, so most of us are happy to stay in the office until the rush hour dies down a bit. It’s just a standard office job in a high-rise building. We mostly talk about where to go for dinner after we finally clock out late.
