Siddhi Vinayak Sweets

Siddhi Vinayak Sweets is tucked away in Dundahera, specifically on the Old Delhi Gurgaon Road in Mata Wali Gali. It’s a bit of a narrow street, so it feels very local and tucked in. We are mostly focused on making sweets and snacks for the people who live and work around here. The morning starts very early for us because we have to get the pans heated up and the milk boiling. Mata Wali Gali has a lot of character, and we are just one part of the daily life there. The shop isn't very large, so we have to be organized with how we stack the containers and display the sweets. Being on the Old Delhi Gurgaon Road means there is a lot of noise from the main road, but the alleyway itself is a bit different. We spend most of our time in the back cooking or out front helping people with their orders. It’s a lot of repetitive work, like frying and dipping things in syrup. We don't have a website or a marketing team. We just rely on the fact that we are here and people know where to find us. The counters are old, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it’s a working shop. We just try to keep the trays full and the floor clean. That’s how we spend our days in Dundahera.
