You can find Shiv Kumar Sharma Engg Works at Plot No. 6 in Sector-40. We are located near Shona Chowk, which isn’t far from the Huda Market. It’s a busy area and can get quite loud with all the traffic. Our workshop is filled with the sound of machines because we’re usually busy with some kind of repair or fabrication job. There’s always a smell of cutting oil and heated metal in the air. We’ve been operating in this sector for quite a long time. People bring us all sorts of mechanical problems to solve. Sometimes it’s a part for a machine that isn’t made anymore, and we have to figure out how to make a new one from scratch. It’s a lot of trial and error sometimes, but we enjoy the challenge. Our team is small, just a few guys who have been working together for years. We don't have a front desk or a receptionist. If you walk in, you just talk to whoever isn't busy with a machine. We aren't big on paperwork or fancy presentations. We’d rather spend our time at the lathe. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings, and we sweep them up at the end of every day. It’s honest, manual work. We don't make big claims about being the best. We just do the work as well as we can and hope the customer is satisfied. That’s been our way of doing things since we first opened the doors here.
