Our setup is a bit different because we’re located in Shed 52 and 54 inside the Hartron Complex. Being in Electronic City, Gurgaon, you’d expect something super futuristic, but these sheds have a very industrial, practical feel to them. It’s all about the hardware and systems here. You walk in and you’ll see wires, components, and people in half-sleeved shirts trying to figure out why a board isn’t working. It’s not the kind of place where you wear a suit. The roof makes a lot of noise when it rains, a sort of rhythmic drumming that makes it hard to hear the person at the next desk. We’ve been here in this part of Haryana for a while, and the Hartron Complex has that old-school tech park vibe. It’s dusty outside because of all the construction always happening in Gurgaon, but inside we try to keep the sensitive stuff clean. There’s a specific smell of solder and ozone that hits you when you walk into Shed 54. We don’t have a fancy receptionist; usually, you just walk in and ask for whoever you’re looking for. The tea lady from the stall outside knows all our names and how much sugar we take. It’s a gritty, hardworking environment where we focus on getting the systems to actually work. It’s not pretty, but it’s ours and we know where every tool is.
