Reservation Manager

Sitting here in Karam Yougi Appartment in Sector 10A, things get pretty busy with the phones. This isn't a big glass office building; it’s just a regular spot in Gurgaon where we manage all the reservations. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood outside, like kids playing or cars honking in the sector. Being a Reservation Manager sounds more formal than it feels day to day, anyway. Most of the time, I am just tracking dates and names on a screen and trying to keep everything straight. Gurgaon is a fast place, I guess, but here in Sector 10A, it feels a bit more like a normal community. The apartment setup is simple. We have a couple of desks and the internet mostly works, which is the main thing for us. People call at all hours asking about bookings, and we try to give them a straight answer. Sometimes the system is slow, or we have to call people back three times to get it right. It’s just how it goes when you’re handling these things. There isn't a big team of suits here, just us trying to make sure no one’s room or travel gets messed up. It’s a lot of typing and talking. We aren't doing anything world-changing, just keeping the calendar updated and making sure people have a place to go. It’s honest work, even if it gets a bit repetitive after a few hours of staring at a computer.
