Ratan Pan Bhandar

It’s been a while since we set things up here at Sector 29 Huda Market. Mostly, it’s just us doing what we know how to do every day. The shop is small, and if you walk past S 6, you’ll see all the jars lined up on the shelves. We spend a lot of time just cleaning the glass and making sure the leaves stay fresh because the heat around here can be pretty rough on the supplies. Usually, mornings are slow, and we just sit around talking to the guy who delivers the newspapers or the other shop owners nearby. Then by evening, people start showing up after they’ve finished their dinners in the market. It gets a bit crowded sometimes, and we’re just scrambling to keep up with the orders while everyone waits. Everyone has their own way they like things made, and we try to remember those small details even when it’s busy. There’s no big secret to how we run things, honestly. We just keep the stall open, keep the supplies stocked, and chat with whoever stops by for a few minutes. Some days the traffic outside is just too much, but inside the market, it feels a bit different. We aren't doing anything fancy here. It's just a regular spot for folks to grab something small on their way home. We’ve seen the market change quite a bit over the years, but we’re still here in our little corner.
