Our office is on the 3rd floor of Krishna Mansion, which is at 301/18 in the Civil Lines area of Gurgaon. This part of town is a bit older and has more character than the new sectors. Krishna Mansion itself has been around for quite some time. To get to us, you have to head up the stairs, which can be a bit of a workout if you’re doing it three or four times a day. Rakun Infotech is situated in a few rooms there. We have high ceilings and windows that look out over the older trees in Civil Lines. It’s a bit quieter here compared to the main highways. We’ve filled the space with our monitors, a few old filing cabinets, and a lot of tangled cables. The floor is that old-style tile that stays cool even when it’s baking outside. We don't have a fancy break room, so we usually sit around one of the larger desks when we eat our lunch. There are some great local spots nearby for a quick snack or a cold drink if the office feels too cramped. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed; we just show up, do our tasks, and talk about whatever is going on in our lives. It’s an honest sort of place. We’ve grown attached to this building and the way the light hits the rooms in the late afternoon. It’s just where we work, and it’s got a bit of a homey feel to it.
