R. L Interior

Our workspace for R. L Interior is over at Plot No. 855 on Wazirabad Road. If you know Sector 51, you know it can get pretty loud with all the trucks and cars passing by outside. We spend most of our time here surrounded by samples of laminate, rolls of wallpaper, and heaps of fabric swatches that never seem to stay in their proper bins. It is a bit of a mess sometimes, but that is how we work. There is an old wooden desk where we look over sketches and try to figure out how to make things fit in different rooms. We are not some big design firm with a glass building; we are just here in Wazirabad doing the actual labor. Some mornings start early with laborers coming in to pick up supplies or us heading out to check on a job site nearby. The walls of the office are covered in scribbled measurements and notes from past projects. We use a lot of tape measures and pencils that always seem to go missing when you need them most. It is practical work, and we do not try to make it sound like something it is not. People come to us because we are right here in the neighborhood and they can see what we are doing. The floor is usually covered in some sawdust or bits of wire, but we clear a path for anyone who drops by to talk about their home.
