Pinki Enterprises

Pinki Enterprises is right across from the Anaz Mandi on Khandsa Road. It is a busy area, especially in the mornings when the trucks are coming and going from the market. There is always a lot of dust in the air and the sound of horns honking. Our shop isn't much to look at from the outside. The sign is a bit faded from the sun, and the front step is worn down from people coming in and out over the years. Inside, it’s a bit crowded because we try to keep a lot of stock on hand for the walk-ins. We have shelves that go all the way to the ceiling, and sometimes we have to use a shaky ladder to reach the top. It’s mostly just us and a couple of helpers trying to keep things moving. We don't use fancy computers for everything; a lot of our notes are still written on pads of paper scattered across the counter. The tea guy comes by twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a break and talk about the news. It’s a noisy, dusty place to work, but we like being near the Mandi. You see all sorts of people walking by. We just try to keep up with the work and handle whatever comes through the door. It’s a simple way to earn a living, and we’ve been doing it this way for quite a while now. We don't mind the chaos.
