Piyush Devbrat

My name is Piyush Devbrat and I operate out of House No. 4008 in Sector 23, Gurgaon. This part of Haryana has changed a lot over the years with all the new buildings, but our street stays pretty much the same. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it’s mostly houses and families living their lives. I use one of the rooms here as my workspace. It’s nothing like the big glass buildings you see in the rest of Gurgaon near the highway. It’s just a desk, a chair, and my stuff scattered around. I prefer it this way because I don't have to deal with a long commute in the heat. I can just walk across the hall and start working. The area is quite convenient for me. There are shops nearby if I need a snack or some pens. I’ve lived in India my whole life and Gurgaon for a big chunk of it. Working from home means I handle everything myself. From answering the door to filing papers, it’s all on me. It gets a bit lonely sometimes without coworkers to talk to, but I like the quiet. I don't use any fancy management tools or software. I just write things down in a notebook I keep on the table. Sector 23 is a good place to be. It feels safe and established compared to the newer sectors. I don't have any big plans to expand or move. I’m just happy doing my work from here and keeping things simple. That is all.
