Our office is tucked away at N-164 on the ground floor in Field Garden, Gurgaon. We have been here for a few years now, and the 122001 area has become quite familiar to us. Being on the ground floor is convenient because we don’t have to wait for the elevators every time we want to step out for a breath of air. The space is not very big, just a few rooms filled with desks and a lot of monitors. We mostly handle online reservations for different clients, so most of our time is spent looking at screens and typing away. It can be a bit noisy sometimes because the walls aren't that thick, and you can hear the cars passing by outside. We don't have any corporate branding or fancy receptionists. If someone knocks, whoever is closest to the door just opens it. We keep a stash of biscuits and a kettle in the corner for when the afternoon slump hits. The team is small, and we all know each other’s families and what everyone did over the weekend. It is a very informal environment. We don’t really do big meetings; we just shout questions across the room when we need to. It is a practical way to run things without all the extra fuss you see in the bigger Gurgaon offices. We like the Field Garden area because it’s a bit more relaxed than the main business hubs.
