We work out of an industrial shed over in Udyog Vihar Phase 6. It’s Plot No-7-D Type, right in the middle of the Hsidc area. If you’ve ever been to this part of town, you know it’s a lot of gray buildings and trucks parked on the side of the road. Inside our shed, it’s a mix of tech equipment and more traditional workshop tools. We aren't the kind of tech company with beanbags or fancy lounges. We just have sturdy tables and some good lighting so we can see what we’re doing. The roof is corrugated metal, so when it rains, it gets really loud inside and we have to shout a bit to hear each other. We spend most of our time assembling things or testing out new components. Niti Technology Pvt. Ltd. is basically just a group of us who like to figure out how things work. Some days are slow and we just clean the equipment, but other days everyone is rushing to get an order out the door. We usually pack our own lunches because there aren't many good places to eat nearby unless you want to walk a long way. The gate is usually open during the day to let some air in. It’s a practical place for practical work. We’ve been at Plot No-7-D for several years now and know most of the guys in the neighboring sheds. We like it here in Phase 6.
