Micro System Engineers

Our office is at 1055, Sector 10A. It’s a relatively quiet spot compared to some of the bigger commercial hubs. We’ve been operating as Micro System Engineers from this same building for a good stretch of time. The workspace is filled with all sorts of small components and testing gear because that’s what we do. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll see leather sofas or glass walls; it’s more about workbenches and soldering irons. We mostly deal with small-scale systems and technical engineering projects. The people who work here are mostly locals from the nearby sectors. We have a small kitchen area where we make tea and talk about anything other than work for a few minutes. Dealing with micro systems requires a lot of patience and a steady hand, so the atmosphere is usually pretty focused. We don’t really go for big announcements or sales pitches. Usually, someone just calls us up because they heard we could help with a specific technical problem. Sector 10A is a nice place to work because it’s not too hectic, though the summer heat can be a bit much sometimes. We just keep our heads down and focus on the technical details of whatever is on the bench that day. It's a small team, and we all know our roles pretty well by now. We just try to do a decent job for whoever walks through the door.
