Kansi Technovation Pvt. Ltd. operates out of Plot No-513 in Udyog Vihar, Phase V. This part of Sector 19 is very industrial, so our surroundings are mostly other big warehouses and manufacturing units. It isn't the most scenic place to work, but it’s where all the action is for businesses like ours. The building is a solid, no-nonsense structure that fits in with the rest of the street. Inside, we have our main work area which is quite open. We have several long tables pushed together and some whiteboards that are usually covered in scribbles and diagrams from our latest projects. It’s a bit of a trek to get here if you aren’t used to the Udyog Vihar traffic, especially during the shift changes at the nearby factories. We’ve got a small pantry area where we keep a microwave and some snacks, though it’s usually a bit of a mess. The lighting is that standard office fluorescent style that hums a little bit if you listen closely. We don't have a big sign outside, just the plot number mostly, so people sometimes miss us on their first visit. The team here is small and we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering phones to fixing equipment. It’s a practical environment where we don't worry much about appearances as long as the work is moving along as it should.
