Initiative Technologies

Over in Rohini Sector 22, right at Shop No 2 on the Main Khanjhwala Road, is where we work. It’s a busy street, so there is always something happening outside the window. We’ve been here for a while, just focusing on whatever technology needs to be handled that day. Initiative Technologies is just a small group of us. The shop isn't very large, so we have to be careful with where we put all the equipment. Sometimes we are fixing hardware, other times we are trying to get a server to behave. It’s honest work. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. You just walk in off the street. Most of our tools are a bit worn down from use, but they still do the job. We know the other shop owners on the block, and we usually get our lunch from the place next door. It’s a standard routine. We open up, check the emails, and start working on whatever project is due. There’s no big corporate vibe here. We just like to get things finished so we can go home at the end of the day. It gets dusty because of the road traffic, but we keep the computers clean and that’s what matters for the work we do. We try to keep our heads down and stay busy with the technical stuff until the shutter goes down.
