Our office is over at Plot 31 in Electronic City, Sector-18. It’s one of those spots that feels like it’s right in the thick of things but also a bit tucked away. The building itself is pretty functional, nothing too flashy on the outside. Inside, you’ll find rows of desks and a lot of people staring at monitors for hours at a time. We have a break room that’s seen better days, and the coffee machine is a bit temperamental, but it gets the job done. The commute out to Electronic City can be a real grind depending on the time of day, so many of us arrive a bit early or stay late just to avoid the worst of the traffic. We don’t have much in the way of fancy lounge areas. Instead, we’ve got whiteboards covered in scribbles that only make sense to the people working on a specific project. It’s a lot of typing and quiet conversations. Sometimes we’ll have a quick meeting standing up just to keep things moving along. The air conditioning is usually a bit too cold, so you’ll see people wearing sweaters even when it’s hot outside. We’ve been here long enough that we know all the local lunch spots and which ones to avoid on a Tuesday. It’s just a place where we write code and try to stay ahead of the bugs without making a big deal out of it.
