Hirdey Masale

If you are ever near Gyan Jyoti College, you might have seen our sign. We are at Plot No. Hl196, right on the Sector 54 Main Road. Hirdey Masale is a small operation, but it keeps us very busy every single day. The smell of spices is always in the air here, and sometimes it makes you sneeze if you are not used to it. The students from the college are always walking past our door, especially in the afternoons when their classes are finally over. It makes the street feel quite lively and young. Our space is basically just a workshop and a storage area for our goods. It is not very organized all the time, especially when we have a big shipment of raw spices coming in from the market. There are bags stacked up almost to the ceiling sometimes. We spend a lot of time grinding and packing things up into smaller bags. It is a lot of manual labor, really. My hands usually smell like turmeric or cumin even after I go home and wash them. The Sector 54 area is okay, it has everything we need close by. We do not have a big fancy office or a receptionist at the front. If you come by, you will probably find us in the back working. We just do things the way we know how. It is a bit dusty and loud with the machines, but that is how it goes.
