Hcl Technologies

We are based at 311 Harmony Homes in Sushant Lok 3, Gurgaon. It is a bit different because we are in a residential area rather than a giant glass tower. Hcl Technologies uses this space for our daily operations. It feels more like a home office than a corporate headquarters. We have our computers set up in the main rooms and we spend most of our time staring at code or answering emails. The neighborhood is quiet compared to the rest of Gurgaon, which is nice when you need to concentrate. We usually take a walk around the block in the evening just to stretch our legs. There is a lot of technical work happening here. Sometimes the wifi acts up and we all have to restart our routers at the same time. We don't wear suits or anything like that; we just wear whatever is comfortable for sitting at a desk all day. We have a small fridge for our drinks and a microwave that gets used a lot at lunchtime. It’s a practical way to work without all the noise of a big city center. We know the security guards at the gate and the neighbors who walk their dogs past our window. It’s a low-key environment where we just focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay on top of our deadlines every day.
