Giesecke & Devrient India Pvt. Ltd.

Our office is over at the Global Business Park, specifically on the 5th floor of Tower D on the Gurgaon-Mehrauli Road. Even though it is a big business park, inside our floor it feels like any other workplace where people are trying to get things done. We have rows of desks and a lot of computers. Giesecke & Devrient has been in this spot in Gurgaon for a while. The commute can be a bit of a headache with the traffic on the Mehrauli road, especially when it rains. We spend a lot of time in meetings or working on technical projects. It is a lot of specialized work, so everyone is usually pretty focused on their screens. We have a small pantry where we all gather for tea or coffee, which is where most of the actual talking happens. The view from the 5th floor is alright, you can see the other towers and the busy road below. We aren't really the type to have a flashy lobby; it’s more about the work happening at the desks. People come in, do their shift, and deal with the various tasks that come up in a day. It is a professional environment but we try to keep it friendly among ourselves. There is always some deadline or another that we are working toward. It’s just a regular part of being in this kind of business hub.
