Ghasi Ram Panna Lal

If you’ve ever walked down Basai Road, you might have seen our sign for Ghasi Ram Panna Lal. It’s an old name, and we’ve been around longer than some of the newer buildings on this street. The shop isn't much to look at from the outside, just a standard storefront on a busy road. We do our business right here on the ground floor. It gets a bit loud with the traffic outside, but you get used to it after a few years. We don't use any fancy computer systems for everything, still rely on a lot of ledgers and memory. My father and his partners started this, and we just kept it going. Basai Road has changed a lot, more shops now and way more bikes. But we stay the same mostly. We have our regulars who come in for their usual orders. We don't do much marketing or anything like that. Word of mouth is usually how people find out about Ghasi Ram Panna Lal. We keep the inventory stacked up in the back. Sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what someone is looking for, but we always get there. It’s a steady life. We open when the sun is up and close when it gets dark. No big corporate meetings, just talking to customers and moving boxes. It’s a simple way to run a business, and it suits us just fine.
