Geine Technologies (India) Pvt Ltd is based in Udyog Vihar Phase Ll at number 291. It is one of those typical office spaces you find in this part of Gurgaon. We have a lot of computers set up on long tables and the chairs are all different because we just add them as we need them over time. The carpet is a dark blue and has a few stains from spilled coffee or tea over the years. We spend a lot of our time looking at code or talking about software updates that need to be finished. It’s not a quiet place because there is always someone talking or a fan running in the corner to keep things cool. We have a big whiteboard that is covered in scribbles and notes that nobody has erased in months. The windows are large but they mostly look out at the parking area and some dusty trees. During the summer, the air conditioning works okay but it struggles when it gets really hot outside. We have a small area near the back where we keep the water dispenser and a microwave for heating up our food. Lunch is usually a quick affair so we can get back to what we were doing. The street outside can get really crowded with cars and food vendors, especially around noon when everyone goes out for a bite. We are just a group of people trying to keep things running smoothly from this building. It’s a lot of screen time and a lot of talking.
