We are situated in room 701 of Wings Apartment in Sector 9, Gurgaon. It’s a good spot in a busy part of the city. Being in an apartment building for work means we see the same people every day in the elevators and the hallways. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift isn't working, but that doesn't happen too often. Our space is filled with the usual office stuff: chairs that have seen better days, some plants that we try to keep alive, and a lot of computers. We do consulting work, which basically means we spend our time thinking and typing and talking. Gurgaon 122008 is a fast-paced area, but once we are inside 701, things feel a bit more manageable. We don’t have a receptionist in a suit or a fancy waiting room with expensive magazines. If you come by, you’ll just see us working at our desks. Sometimes we order in food from the local markets in Sector 9 when we have a lot to finish. The view from the window is mostly other buildings and the hazy Gurgaon sky, but it’s home to us during the work week. We just try to stay focused and get through the pile of work that always seems to be there. It’s a plain and simple way to run things, and it suits us just fine.
