Flextronics Software System {Hughes Software System}

Our place is at O-461 in Jalvayu Vihar over in Gurgaon. We go by Flextronics Software System, though some people still remember the Hughes Software System name. It’s a residential area mostly, so it’s a bit quieter than the main commercial hubs of Gurgaon. We work on software stuff here. It’s not a huge tech park office, just a space in Jalvayu Vihar where we keep our systems running. There are a few of us who have been here for a long time. Gurgaon has changed a lot since we first set up, with all the big malls and highways coming up. Our office stays pretty much the same. We deal with technical things all day, but we talk like regular people. We don’t use much jargon when we’re just chatting in the office. It’s a lot of sitting in front of screens and trying to figure out problems. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet acts up, like anywhere else. We just deal with it. We have our desks and our tea breaks. It’s a steady kind of life. Being in a place like Jalvayu Vihar means we have a bit of greenery around, which is nice. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished image. We just do the work we know how to do. It’s a simple setup for a complex job. We like the balance of being in a quiet spot.
