Our shop is number 139 over in Sector-49. It’s in the Arcida building in South City-2. Gurgaon is pretty crowded these days, so finding a good spot like this took some time. We deal with textiles and fabrics, specifically under the Fab Paisley name. It’s a small shop, not like those huge malls you see everywhere else in Haryana. We keep things organized, or at least we try to. Most days involve looking at patterns and talking to people about what they need for their own clothing projects. It gets a bit warm in the afternoons, but we have a fan that keeps us going. Being in South City-2 means we get a lot of locals walking by. I usually spend my time checking the stock or making sure the latest rolls of fabric look okay. There’s no big corporate strategy here. We just want to sell material and make enough to keep the lights on. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late because of the traffic on the main road, but that’s just part of living in Gurgaon. If you’re around Sector-49, stop by shop 139. It’s tucked in there near the other small businesses. We don't have any fancy signs, just the name on the glass. It’s a simple operation and we like it that way. We've been here for a while and the regulars know our faces pretty well now. We just do our work and keep the shop open for whoever needs good fabric.
