We are based in Sushant Lok-2, at G-1206 in Gurgaon. It’s a residential area, so it’s much quieter than the industrial parts of the city. Enduring Handcrafts is all about the stuff made by hand, which means our office looks more like a hobby room that got a bit out of control. We have shelves filled with all sorts of handcrafted items, from small wooden pieces to embroidered bits. It’s a small team of us here. We spend a lot of time packing things carefully because handcrafted items can be a bit delicate. The neighborhood is nice with a few trees outside our window, which is a rare sight in Gurgaon these days. We don't have a big sign or a fancy lobby. If you came to visit, you’d probably think it was just another house until you saw all the boxes in the hallway. We have a rhythm to our days—checking the new arrivals in the morning and then spending the afternoon doing the inventory. Sometimes the couriers are late, and we end up sitting on the porch waiting for them. It’s a slow business compared to the big tech companies nearby, but we like it that way. It feels more personal when you’re touching everything that goes out the door. We usually end the day by making a list of what needs to be sourced next.
