My spot is right in the C Block Market of Vasant Vihar, at C-1. It is a great little market area where everyone seems to know everyone else. My space is small but it serves its purpose well. I have a desk and a couple of chairs, and there are always stacks of documents and books around me. Being in Vasant Vihar means there are always people walking by, going to the grocery store or getting coffee nearby. I can see the whole market through the front window, which is nice for people-watching when things are a bit slow. The work I do is mostly quiet and involves a lot of focus, so I do not mind the small size of the room. It feels cozy rather than cramped. I haven't done much to the walls, just a few pictures and a clock that runs five minutes fast. People who live in the C Block often stop in to ask for help with their tasks or just to check on how things are going. I do not use any big marketing tricks or have a shiny website. Most of my work comes from people just knowing I am here in the market. The floor is made of old stone, and it stays nice and cool even when it is hot outside. It is a simple, steady way to spend the day, right in the middle of a neighborhood I have grown very fond of over the years.
