We’re over at K 4 in South City 1, which is a pretty well-known part of Gurugram. It’s right in the middle of everything, really. Being in Gurgaon means there’s always a lot of energy around, even if the roads are a bit of a mess sometimes. Our office is tucked away in this neighborhood. We deal with code and software stuff mostly. The name Dreamcode sounds a bit fancy, but we’re actually quite grounded people. We just sit at our desks and type away until the sun goes down. Most of us have been around tech for years, so we’ve seen all the changes happen. The office has a few plants that we forget to water sometimes, and a lot of tangled cables under the desks. It’s not a showroom; it’s a working space. We don’t have those fancy bean bags or ping pong tables you see in some offices. We just have chairs and screens. We like the local vibe of South City 1. It’s easy to get to and has some decent food joints around the corner. We usually just order in some parathas and keep working through the afternoon. It’s a straightforward life we have here, just trying to build things that work and keep our heads down. We don't really do the big networking events. We just focus on what's on our plates and getting through our tasks each day as they come.
