DEVYAM TEXTILES PRIVATE LIMITED

Devyam Textiles is based in the WeWork over at DLF Two Horizon Centre on Golf Course Road. It’s a modern building, and being on the 5th floor gives us a nice view of the traffic and the metro below. Even though we are in a fancy co-working space, we are still just a small textile firm. We spend our days on the phone or looking at samples of yarn and fabric spread out on our desks. It’s a bit different from the traditional textile shops in the old city areas. We moved here because it’s easier to meet people and get things done in Gurgaon. We don't have a massive team, just a few of us who really care about the quality of the thread and the weave. It gets a bit noisy in the common areas with all the other startups, but we have our own little corner where we work. We don't have a long history or a big factory of our own yet. We work with different manufacturers to get things made according to our specs. It's a lot of back and forth, checking colors and making sure the final product is right. We don't have any big corporate goals or mission statements. We’re just trying to build something steady in the textile world. It’s a lot of hard work and late nights, but we’re making it happen one order at a time.
