Colt Technologies

Up on the eighteenth floor of T4 in Gold Leaf Crescent Valley View Estate, things are usually pretty quiet. We’ve set up Colt Technologies here in Gurgaon, and it’s a decent place to spend the day. The view is alright when the weather is clear, though most of the time we are just looking at our screens anyway. We aren't a massive outfit with hundreds of people running around; it’s more of a tight-knit group of us in unit 1804. The commute into this part of Haryana can be a bit of a headache with the traffic, but once you get inside the gates of the estate, it feels a lot calmer. We keep the coffee pot going and try to stay on top of the stuff that needs doing. There is no fancy lobby or receptionist to greet you, just the door and the desks where we sit. It’s a functional space. Sometimes we stay late when a project is dragging on, and other times we head out early if the work is finished. We don’t have a handbook telling us how to act or what to say. It’s just about getting through the tasks and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. Being based in Gurgaon means there’s always something happening nearby, but we mostly just stick to our corner of the valley view and keep our heads down until the day is over.
