Benchmark Internet Group

Benchmark Internet Group is on the second floor of building 23 in Sector 15, Part Ii. To get to us, you have to walk up a set of stairs that are a bit narrow and sometimes they are a little dark if the bulb is out. Once you are inside, it’s mostly just one big open room with a lot of desks pushed together in the center. We do a lot of internet-based work here, so there are routers and cables everywhere you look. The walls are mostly bare, except for a calendar that is a few months behind and some old flyers. We have a few windows that look out onto the street, and we can see the shops across the road and people parking their bikes. It gets pretty bright in the mornings, so we have to pull the blinds down to see our screens clearly. The office has a bit of a lived-in feel to it. There are stacks of paper on the desks and some empty soda bottles that haven't been thrown away yet. We have a small table in the corner where we put the mail and spare keyboards. It’s not a very formal place. Most of us just wear jeans and t-shirts while we work. We have a small coffee machine that makes a lot of noise but it gets the job done for the morning rush. The air in here usually smells a bit like old paper and electronics. We are just a local team doing our thing here.
