If you find yourself on the Main Road in Sector 18, you’ll likely pass by B M Incorporation at number 213. It is a very active area. We are right in the middle of all the noise and the other shops. Being on the main road means there is always someone walking in or a delivery being dropped off. Our space is basically just a functional unit. We handle various supplies and items that people in the industry need. It’s not very organized to the eye, with boxes stacked up in the corners, but we know where everything is. The front door stays open most of the day to let some air in. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us who have been doing this for a long time. We know most of the people who work in the other shops along this road. Sometimes we stand out front and chat for a minute when it’s slow. The work involves a lot of checking lists and making sure the inventory matches what the customers are asking for. It gets dusty because of the road traffic, so we are always wiping down the counters. It’s a straightforward business. We aren't trying to be anything big or fancy. We just provide what is needed and try to keep things moving. It's just how we operate here in Sector 18. We have been in this spot for years and it feels like home.
