Asian Computer Systems is tucked away in Shop No. 13 at the Housing Board Market in Saraswati Vihar. Being in Gurgaon, things move fast, but our little corner of the market feels a bit more grounded. It’s a standard shop space where we keep a lot of hardware and parts on the shelves. It’s not one of those shiny showrooms you see in the big malls. We prefer it this way. Most of our customers are locals who live in the Saraswati Vihar area and just need something fixed or a new part for their home setup. The market gets quite lively in the evenings, and we’re usually here until late trying to finish up whatever came in that morning. Sometimes the power cuts out and we have to wait a bit, but we get back to it soon enough. It’s just a few of us working here. We don't use fancy titles or anything. If someone walks in with a problem, we take a look and see what we can do. The shelves might be a little disorganized and there’s always a faint smell of solder in the air, but that’s just part of the job. We like being part of the local market community. It’s a simple business and we try to keep it that way without making things complicated for anyone who walks in for help.
