Zea Creations

Our setup for Zea Creations is actually in the basement at U79/17 in DLF City Phase III. It’s a bit tucked away, so if you aren’t looking for the number, you might walk right past the stairs. Being in the basement means we don’t get a lot of noise from the street, which is actually pretty good when we need to focus on something. The walls are a bit plain, but we’ve got plenty of space for the machines and the big cutting tables we use. It can get a little dusty if we haven't swept in a day or two because of all the materials we handle. Usually, the morning starts with us checking what needs to be done first and then just getting on with it. We drink a lot of tea while we work, and there’s always a stack of empty cups somewhere that needs to be cleared away. The lighting is all artificial since there aren't many windows, but we’ve put in enough bulbs so we can see what we’re doing. It’s not a corporate office or anything like that, just a place where things get made. Sometimes the neighbors from upstairs pop their heads in to say hello. We spend most of our hours here, from the early morning until it gets dark outside, just keeping the projects moving along one by one. It’s a simple way to work, really and it suits us fine.
