Laima Creations

If you’re looking for Laima Creations, we are tucked right behind the Bank of India in Jacobpura. It’s a bit of a maze back here, but once you find the bank, you’re basically there. The area is always buzzing with people shopping and moving around. Our shop isn't very large, and it’s usually piled high with fabrics or whatever we happen to be working on that week. We don't have a fancy showroom or a big staff in suits. It’s just a couple of us who have been doing this for years. We grew up around here, so Jacobpura feels like home to us. We don’t put on any acts for our customers. We’re just regular people trying to make a living. Some days the power goes out and we have to wait it out with a cup of chai from the corner, but that’s just how it goes sometimes. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall. We just focus on the task in front of us and try not to get too stressed when things get busy. It’s a practical way to live. People know us in the neighborhood, and we like that connection. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just making things behind the bank and hoping people like what we do. It keeps us busy and out of trouble. We take it one day at a time.
