You can find us on the ground floor of Tower A in the Spazedge Building, which is over in Sector 47 on the Gurgaon Sohna Road. It's a big, modern building, so it's a bit different from a small workshop. Yamaha Music India is where we handle a lot of the logistics and coordination for the instruments. Even though it's a corporate-looking building, the people inside are mostly just music fans or folks who know their way around an instrument. We have some display models around, but it's mainly an office space. The traffic on Sohna Road can be pretty rough during peak hours, so most of us try to get in early. There’s a lot of talk about shipping schedules and inventory levels. We spend a lot of time on our headsets or typing away. It's not as loud as a factory, but there’s a constant hum of activity. Sometimes someone will be testing a keyboard or a guitar in the back, and that’s a nice break from the typing. We have a small canteen area where we grab lunch. The windows look out onto the busy street, which is always full of cars. It’s a busy place, but we try to keep it friendly. We're just regular people who happen to work with musical gear. It’s a job that keeps us busy from nine to five, and then we head home like everyone else.
