The shop floor is usually where most of the action is. It gets a bit messy with the stuff we handle, but that’s just how it goes in this line of work. There’s always a smell of materials in the air, which you get used to after about five minutes. We’ve got a small office space carved out where we handle the billing and talk to folks who drop in. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we're usually too busy with the actual work to worry about that. It’s a practical space. We’ve got a few regulars who come by, and we know their orders by heart. The traffic in Kadipur can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we try to get the heavy loading done early before the roads get clogged up. It isn't a flashy place. We just focus on getting the mix right and making sure the containers are ready for whoever is picking them up. Some days are slower than others, which gives us time to clean up a bit, but mostly it’s just keeping the machines running and staying on schedule. We have an old ceiling fan that makes a bit of noise, but it helps when the weather gets muggy. It’s just us here, doing the work day in and day out.
