S K Engineering Works

S K Engineering Works is located over at 361 in the Udyog Vihar part of Kadipur, right on Pataudi Road. It’s a real industrial spot, so the whole area mostly smells like grease and cut metal. We do basic engineering work, mostly things like turning parts on lathes or welding things back together when they break. It’s a loud place to work with the machines running all day long. We have been here for quite a while, and the shop floor is pretty stained with oil, which is just how it is for a shop like this. We deal with a lot of other local businesses that need parts fixed or made up quickly. It involves a lot of standing on your feet and dealing with heavy pieces of iron and steel. We aren't really the type of people to sit in an office all day; we're usually out on the floor getting our hands dirty with the machines. Sometimes the heat in the peak of summer makes the work even tougher, but we just keep at it. We don't have any fancy brochures or even a proper front desk. You just walk in and talk to whoever isn't currently busy running a machine. It's honest work, and we just take it as it comes. The area is always buzzing with activity, which keeps us on our toes. We’ve managed to stay put at 361.
