We are over in Phase-V of Udyog Vihar. If you know the area, you know it is a massive grid of buildings and factories. Our place is at number 797. It is a functional space meant for trading. We have a lot of stock coming in and out every week. The warehouse area takes up most of the space, with a small section for the office work. It is always a bit noisy with the forklifts and the delivery vans. We don't have a reception area with flowers or anything like that. It is just a place where business happens. We deal with various trade goods. It involves a lot of counting and checking invoices. The staff is small, and we all pitch in with the heavy lifting when needed. The sun hits the front of the building in the afternoon, making it quite warm. We have a small water cooler in the corner that gets a lot of use. We don't spend money on fancy brochures. People find us through word of mouth or because they need what we’re trading. It is a busy environment. We start early to beat the traffic coming into Udyog Vihar. By the time evening rolls around, we’re usually tired but the work is done. It is not a complicated life. We just keep the trade moving and make sure the accounts stay straight at the end of the month.
